This is true. I got fired from KU Med for a post I made in my own private time at home. Very Sad.

Were they comments you made on Brightkite? Just curious because I noticed comments you posted when I looked at the place stream around Jaywalkers a while back. At least, I think it was you because that account was linked to the same Twitter account as the Twitter account you link to on your web site.
I didn't know if you were an employee or just someone there to attend a seminar on security or what. All I remember about the comments were kvetching about having to listen to people who didn't know WTF they were talking about, or something like. The main reason that stuck with me is from listening to my husband kvetch about similar things when it comes to IT.
And today here I sit at my dad's laptop, trying to help my mom with her tech issues, and I find myself wanting to bang my head on the keyboard when I hear my parents reveal just how little they know about computers. *gah*
